Making a Difference in the Parkinson’s Community!

Four graduate students from URI's Communicative Disorders program recently participated in The Renew Retreat hosted by the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Alliance in Portsmouth, RI. 💙

In partnership with our community ally, True Self Speech Therapy, our students offered free swallowing screenings to attendees.

This event brought together local experts, therapists, and caregivers for a day of learning, connection, and empowerment. We’re proud to be part of such meaningful, hands-on community engagement! 👏
