Sitting here scrolling through FB and seeing all of these Meet The Teacher Events. All I can focus on is the cute little reading nooks with carpeting, the fabric furniture, the backpack hanging hooks that are side by side, the nap mat cubbies that are right next to eachother. These are all great setups to pickup new friends(lice). Getting these critters is something that’s inevitable, especially with the little ones. Teachers do not need to rearrange their classroom out of concern for this topic. One just needs to be proactive. Make it routine to check your kids head on a weekly basis and stay ahead of the game. ANYBODY can get lice…it’s not a matter of IF, but WHEN. When that time comes, skip the harsh chemicals and give your local Lice Angel a call. Just a reminder that we do accept Driscoll Medicaid which I have found to be a huge benefit to our community. Help slow the spread and end the stigma on lice.❤️
