✨BREEDING UPDATE✨

2025 was a phenomenal year for Slick with all but 1 mare settling and 90% of the mares confirmed in foal on their foal heat. And 2026 has great things in store already!

Typically I will open Slicks upcoming years breeding books November 1, BUT this year is a little different as his books filled full In August! I am so excited to see people taking a chance on our breeding program with their mares and breeding to a Jr. Stallion that puts quality, conformation, and brains in his foals.❤️

Slicks foals are also eligible for the Homegrown Classic Stallion Incentive. He will have one breeding available in the online auction in December if anyone is interested in a 2026 breeding yet!

This filly was on the keeper list the day she was born. Besides her conformation and color. Her head markings resemble Spice a mare that was also born and raised on the farm years ago. Dad broke her to ride and she was quite the spit fire but so smart and catty and then went on to be moms main riding horse for a while until I took over on her. I used Spice as a flag horse, ranch horse, and 4-H/play day event horse. So when Kiss (she’s loves nose kisses) came out resembling Spice it tugged on the heart strings a little.❤️

Watching this filly transform over the summer and shed out has been a beautiful process. She even kept a solid dark spot on her right hip in the shape of a heart. Frosty and slick knocked it out of the park this year on this filly. I don’t think she could be anymore perfect!

That’s a wrap on the 2025 breeding season!

All mares are confirmed in foal for the 2026 foaling season. Slick takes his job very seriously and understands the memo on no June babies! Lol

Now to watch this years foals grow and shed out. Everyone is looking great on the green grass Mother Nature has provided for us this year.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 foaling season! Started April 12th and finished up May 31st.

In case anyone ever wonders about the personality of Slicks foals. These two in particular are out of range mares (only halter broke) and these foals were only handled the day they were born and then turned out. Now two weeks later they are the friendliest ones.
