Re: Insurance Billing- 2025:
EDITED UPDATE - MTM Insurance Billing Policy for 2025:
1. We will continue to work with and bill the following insurances:
Premera Blue Cross - out of network
Regence - in network
Uniform Medical - in network
Aetna - out of network
Cigna - out of network
Wa State Dept. of L&I for worker's claims - in network
All auto accident claims including PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and 3rd Party Claims where no PIP is in place.
2. United Healthcare - we have had multiple issues with UHC for many years. Their continued denial of claims and refusal to work with their contracted providers and their insured to pay for reasonable and necessary medical expenses has caused us to rethink our relationship with them. While we are still in-network with UHC, we are not accepting new patients, nor anyone with Medicare Advantage plans. Any denied claims will be appealed by our office 1 time, if UHC further denies payment, it will be the patient's responsibility to pay the full cost of their treatments.
