Osceola Overcoming Overdose - The Phoenix Sessions

Location: Osceola Arts

Huge art exhibit made by people impacted by overdose in Osceola County.

Recovery Advocate Panel full of amazing advocates who have touched thousands of lives.

Children left behind from overdose that are breaking the cycle will light our vigil this year!

I will be speaking publicly about what happens when a public advocate returns to use and fights mental health struggles, how they use the same community they work in to heal themselves and take a step back. With a heavy focus on the hope and joy that can return after losing any faith that life will be okay ever again.

We will also have a GREAT keynote speaker who has overcome their own addiction and now works everyday changing policies for the State of Florida.

After 4 years of hard work and with a heavy heart I am announcing my resignation from Osceola Recovery Project. I will continue to work with the board to assist with the transition and of course I am still always here for anyone in need. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and my dream of a drug free coalition for Osceola. Maybe one day! I will definitely support anyone who wants to take over.

FREE FILM SCREENING. Join us and Osceola Recovery Project October 12, 2023 in support of Osceola Recovery Project at Regal The Loop, 3232 John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741. Seating begins at 5:30PM.

A professional panel discussion afterward will share more about the addiction crisis and what can be done locally in Osceola County and Central Florida to help. THERE IS HOPE!

I just went to Regal at the loop and saw all of our flyers distributed. What an exciting moment! Please come see this FREE recovery film hosted by Osceola Recovery Project !!! Next Thursday at 6pm! This film documents people seeking recovery and overcoming the hurdles to treatment.

We will have a movie screening at REGAL FREAKING CINEMA AT THE LOOP! PLEASE COME!!!!!! tickets are on eventbrite and they range from $0 - $25.

This IS our second fundraiser.
We haven't had any funding since over a year ago.

Anyway! Let's goooooo!! I'd love to see pe**te in recovery there. Watch the trailer for this movie.
