Glad to see CMS starting to audit the Medicare Advantage system. If they get the changes in place they are talking about, it will reduce my concerns greatlly.
Just remember, if you are on an Advantage Plan and your procedure is needed and you get turned down - APPEAL! Many of the appeals are approved upon reconsideration.

I have been to some very interesting places over the years, but I think right now I am thinking Honeymoon Island State Park, Palm Harbor, Florida sounds pretty good. Nice beach, beautiful sunsets, 15 minutes from good restaurants and I can be back home in bed by 10am ... I know boring but I could use a little boring right now.

As we all prepare for the 4th of July, Please keep in mind the following:
--- We welcome everyone to keep in mind that while celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary - It is also the anniversary of our Country's Independence declaration. Please don't let our wedding anniversary overshadow this other important event and shared celebration. While you are watching the various fireworks displays that mark our 47th - Remember America will also celebrate 249 years post our signature document. Land of the Free / Home of the Brave!!
--- We can not promise endless picnic supplies on this date, please be responsible and bring your own. This may include chairs and blankets at some locations if you prefer to use them
---Fireworks can be dangerous, enjoy them but be careful and they are also used at your own risk.

Absolutely NO GIFTS! Just enjoy your family as we mark this landmark day since the ceremony in Ringgold Georiga 47 years ago (and our country's Independence of course).
Tidbit - We did this on a 96 from the Marine Corps. I know I was outside the travel distance authorized for a 96 hour pass from Jacksonville NC to Ringgold GA but I had a great Company Commander that understood the special circumstances. He said just don't be late for formation on Monday... and I wan't!
