Federal nutrition standards guide us in the transformation to healthier school lunches. A healthy, well balanced school lunch gives the students the nutrients they need to have success in their education. Changes Include:
Calorie Ranges appropriate for age
Lowfat or fat free milk
Larger servings sizes of fruit and vegetables
Increased variety of vegetables
More whole grains
Less Sodium
