“Sometimes growth looks like moving forward. Sometimes it looks like coming back to what once made you feel like yourself.”
Or maybe sometimes it's both.
I've rewritten this post about 6 times now, even tried asking for ChatGPT to give me some massive inspiration and nothing is fitting so I'm going back to my stand-by of just being my honest, genuine self who overthinks everything 😅
It's been 87 years (not really but it feels like it has been...) since the tiny little dragonfly graced the corners of my photo for all things dock diving, family and portrait related moments. Lots has happened since then and lots of reasons why I didn't feel like picking it back up. Sometimes growth requires a period of quiet regrouping before you realize that your "hobbies" are the fuel that feeds the fire.
So here it is...I’m officially launching photography services again - formerly known as Libellula Photo, now proudly Wingin’ It Photography. A name that fully embraces the truth that none of us really know what we’re doing most of the time…and a nod to the dragonflies that show up, guide us, and remind us when it’s time to take flight again.
A special thank you to my parents and close friends for giving me the encouragement I needed to take my "I'll get to this someday" idea and turning it into fuel for inner passion fire. Hearing "you can do this" is apparently a really important part of who I am when I don't always believe in myself. Thank you for knowing when I need a push ❤️
