I am ready to replace my "Combatquilter" wall hanging, but have no idea what to put in its place. This is where you come in, I am asking for design help. I will make the quilt out of my line "Path to Freedom" made by Timeless Treasures Fabrics . I have used a dry erase marker on a window, a napkin, or good ole fashioned graph paper, or you are a nerd and can use eq8, like me. In return, I will either send you the old one or make you a mirror image of the one you design (on a larger scale).
The dimensions need to be 30 wide by 40 long, so it fits in my shelf, that my mother got me for christmas a few years ago. The deadline is April 15th by noon. I will post the entries and let yall vote. Please send them via email or messenger. P.s. it can be applique, paper pieced, or traditional piecing.

Thank you for hosting . It helped inspire me to post more often, and about different topics. I hope to continue, and be more like my friend Charisma in that aspect.
However, today i am asking for help. I tried the "printful" thing to have shirts and things printed, and it didn't work out. The dollar per item I was making wasn't worth the headache. So, I am looking for a veteran organization that prints (dtf) t shirts, sweatshirts, and other things with my logo. I am not looking to make any money from it, just want people to be able to get good quality items. I also need them to handle the individual shipping in the US. Who do you have? (Picture for attention)

Today's category is "Must make quilts". I have my next 41 quilts planned, 33 of those I have the fabric, and maybe 15 or so of those cut and ready to go.
I wish I could narrow it down to just one epic quilt that I have intended to make, but I have a few. Ofcourse, Pinterest and quilt shows are not helping my list get any smaller. What is on your bucket "quilt" list?

"Favorite Finish" is the topic for today's post. To no surprise, the first quilt with my own fabric line, hands down, is the my favorite for so many reasons.
1. The fabric design process happened because a good friend ( Charisma Horton Designs & Longarm Quilting ) mentioned to Timeless Treasures Fabrics that i may have a few ideas. Thank you.
2. The folks at Timeless Treasures Fabrics went out of their way to help guide me through the process and believed in my artistic insight to create something of epic proportio. Thank you to those people who put in extra effort to help me in that process.
3. The pattern is from the late Sharon Henrie Lake, one that, during a call for names, she chose mine. "Heroes Comfort"
4. The things quilting has done for me, my mental health, my livelihood, and the amazing people I have met along the way.
5. The differences in so many people's lives this fabric has made; from mine to all the people who touch it, quilt makers, crafters, and Quilts of Valor recipients.

In an attempt to foster a more team oriented sport, I have decided to start a trend to help spot "Quilters" in the wild.
You choose your color scheme and number, and "Quilters" will be the team name. Please select "stitched name and number". My friend Corey is already on board. It will help with socialization and conversation. Link to purchase in the first comment.

I have delayed learning curved piecing because it intimidated me. I watched a lady at the quilt show do it without pins (i am anti pins except for lonestar) and she made it look easy. I am also grateful for new friends who have the skill, and volunteered to teach it (thanks ). P.s these are his blocks.

Anyone looking for a great scrap buster project? I have been working on this pattern for some time (releasing soon after I teach this class). 39 x 36 or 60 x 55 wall hanging. Teaching it this Wednesday at Indigo Quilt Studio in Lincoln, Illinois.

Bring bold color and modern quilting to your sewing space with The Tactful Tacker, a striking new pattern by Andrew Lee, also known as the Combat Quilter. This modern wall hanging is a creative tribute to our machines that make it all possible! In this class, Andrew will guide you through creating...

Day 21 "other hobbies". I have become a huge fan of bird watching, thanks to the unintentional efforts of . Growing up i used to have to mow around and fill the bird feeders. I never realized the joy such simple creatures could bring; thanks dad. Now, to find a good pair binoculars, any recommendations?
