We’re excited to share that Dr. Swisher and the entire PH Team have once again achieved accreditation as a PHA Center of Comprehensive Care for another 3 years!

This recognition reflects the incredible dedication, teamwork, and expertise behind the program. A few highlights from the recent review:

- An exceptionally strong and well-established program led by Dr. Swisher and supported by outstanding inpatient and outpatient PH coordinators. The addition of two assistant PH program directors will help expand care to more communities across eastern Tennessee, northern Georgia, and southwestern Kentucky.

- Expanding access to care for underserved populations through new satellite clinic locations and virtual pulmonary rehabilitation options, helping patients receive expert care closer to home.

Once again, congratulations to Dr. Swisher and the entire team! Your hard work, vision, and commitment to patient care continue to make a real difference in our region.

StatCare is teaming with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee to launch a special campaign to support our community. By donating to Second Harvest, we are directly investing in the health of our community.

How You Can Extend Your Impact:

1. Financial Donation: You can help by filling a Virtual Shopping Cart providing Holiday Meal Boxes with the most needed food items, providing critical nourishment to individuals and families across Second Harvest's 18-county service area. This is often the most efficient way to help, as the food bank can purchase large volumes of specific high-need items (like fresh produce or lean proteins) at wholesale prices. Link is below.

2. Food Donation: Please contribute non-perishable, high-impact items (e.g., canned tuna/chicken, peanut butter, whole-grain pasta, low-sodium canned vegetables). Collection bins are located in the main lobby at Bearden, Farragut, and Oak Ridge Clinics.

We are a physician led organization and currently have over 80 doctors on our team. Today we are reminded how much of their lives each of them give to this profession and the sacrifices they make every day. Thank you to each of you and all of the doctors out there!

Before 2024 comes to an end, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the people who made all of this possible. 25 years ago, 9 physicians came together to create an organization that would one day serve the entire East TN region. It is with their continued involvement and leadership that StatCare is what it is today.
