SPOTLIGHT TIME😇 How can we fittingly pay tribute to the this gal right here, Ally Nich whose transformative journey with Beauty for Ashes Freedom House LC Tn began at a critical crossroads? Upon arrival, her stomach was severely compromised due to years of alcohol abuse following stomach reduction surgery, resulting in a significantly narrowed opening. The prognosis was uncertain, with her struggling to ingest even the most basic liquids and her life literally hanging in the balance. Nonetheless, through unwavering determination and divine intervention, she defied expectations, being hospitalized, multiple times because of dehydration and malnutrition. I remember telling the surgeons that did not want to do anything because of no insurance, that “she was not going to die on my watch”, the surgeons demonstrated remarkable compassion and dedication in treating her, and we were determined to prevent her condition from deteriorating. Through collective efforts and her unyielding strength, her stomach began to heal sufficiently for her to rediscover the joy of eating. 💝 It's been approximately five years since Alyson graduated from Beauty for Ashes, and witnessing her grow into the person she is today has been truly gratifying. Her faith has been the cornerstone of her journey to sobriety, she truly loves Jesus, providing unwavering support. She has evolved into a beacon of love and care for those around her, notably her 'parents by friendship,' whom she treats with genuine devotion, often prioritizing to make sure she is there if they need her. 🩷🩵 The bond she shares with her niece Maggie💝💝 is exceptionally special, with Maggie affectionately referring to her as Mawmaw. Currently, Alison is embarking on a new chapter, working with a healthcare agency, driven by her experiences to provide compassionate care to others. This moment of triumph is a testament to her resilience. Her aspirations to become a counselor, dedicated to guiding others through their struggles with addiction, serve as a huge testament to her own journey. With her innate compassion and determination, she will undoubtedly excel as a counselor. Congratulations, Alison; we are profoundly proud of you. 🙌💜🙌
