💪💯 A simple yet effective method for building resilience and overcoming adversity:

♟ Acknowledge the adversity: The first step in overcoming adversity is acknowledging it. It's okay to admit that you're going through a tough time. It's not a sign of weakness, but a recognition of reality.

🫶 Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself. Understand that everyone faces challenges and it's okay to not be okay sometimes. Don't beat yourself up over things you can't control.

😁 Adopt a positive mindset: Try to look for the silver lining in every situation. This doesn't mean ignoring the negative but rather choosing to focus on potential opportunities for growth and learning.

My big brother's birthday is today 🎉🥳🎂 He would have been 50 years old. I often wonder what he would have been like if he had lived. I know he and I would still be stuck like glue. I imagine he would have gotten into technology and art. He loved drawing and computers. I am so thankful that I had the time that I shared with him. He taught me a lot. How to blow bubbles with chewing gum, how to make a Little Debbie Nutty Bar last by taking the layers apart and eating them one by one, and how to make a ham and cheese sandwich without bread by rolling them up together. I wish I could go back to those days and just thank him for being who he was and loving me the way that he did. This world could have really used more than 12 years of his light. ❤️❤️❤️
