Good morning! Haven’t posted here in a while. Welcome to new followers.
Some reminders I need to post
1. Not taking new patients at moment unless it’s for Primary and that doesn’t mean you tell me it’s for primary care just to get in. If I find out that was a lie you will be discharged and never allowed back
2. If you are more than 10 min late you will be asked to reschedule. Things happen and occasionally I understand that but when it’s every time it won’t be accepted. My time is valuable too
3. There are signs everywhere at the practice that states give provider 24 hours to get meds called in. That doesn’t mean leave office and go straight to pharmacy and then call.
4. I will not answer personally text , personal email and personal Facebook messages or post. If you need something and haven’t called 865-219-1989, 865-361-1623 or messaged via your portal message will not be returned. “Friend” or not. It’s getting out of control.
5. If patients are caught being rude to my staff you will get 1 chance and will be discharged. It’s not ok to treat people ugly. I am not perfect and I am sure none of you are either. Things get missed I am human but I will tell you it’s me and fix it. If you think somewhere else is a better fit for you and you will be treated as the person you are and not a number, maybe that would be a better fit for you. Let me know where and I will be more than happy to send your records.
6. I know that I will bend over for pts and fight and do everyday. If you stood by me just one day and fought with insurance companies you would see. It’s exhausting but it’s the right thing to do. But I won’t be ran over if something doesn’t go your way. Insurance is ever changing and I have no control over there rules. Meaning if something was approved and now denied it isn’t my fault. So please don’t come at me.
7. Now the lovely phones. You all know they have been a mess. And come June my contract with ATT is over. I now have wonderful staff and I know messages are gotten and phones are answered. If not please leave a message they will return if appropriate or give me the message. I am the only provider so if you left a message for me I most likely don’t get to it till after clinic which means please don’t call 14 times or call, text me, email me, email portal etc,, the let does not mean it’s faster!
8. Refills will not be sent if you havevent been seem in office in last 3 months
