Back in 2020 God inspired me to take on a challenge that I will be forever for 🥰.

For the entire month of November I wrote about how I saw the Lord’s hand in my life that day. The following year I chose to do it again.

Now, each and every day I get to see those posts in my memories and relive those again. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the birth of our family than to read about all those .

Amongst some of those are the many reminders of how November is the birth month of our family ❤️! We have our wedding anniversary, our one and only positive pregnancy test, when we became first time parents to foster kids, & our temple sealing to our youngest son, T, which made us a 💕.

Today I am for the individual time I get with each of my kids at bedtime. Each of them gets my undivided attention for a brief amount of time, but I love these moments with them 🥰! I get better glimpses of each of their personalities and I can see how they each love these we get together. These boys mean everything to me 💕!

As I have sought to bring more gratitude into my life lately, particularly my prayers, and recognize God’s hand in my life daily, I have truly seen a difference in my mood, despite unchanged circumstances. My focus changed and allowed me to more fully find the good, instead of dwelling on the hard. is indeed a that is desperately needed, especiallly in times of , and .

About a month ago now, one of T’s class aids told me of something funny he did at school:

T was playing rough with the toys. and suddenly stopped what he was doing and said to himself “let’s try that again”. He then proceeded to take deep breaths and played much better after that. Oh my goodness, this boy 😅😂!

He’s been really into the good choice/bad choice game lately and I love that he is correcting his behavior on his own 🥰. He’s also been asking to try again at home if something goes wrong.

I am so grateful for my Savior who allows me the same grace, and opportunity to try again and again, no matter how many times I make the same mistakes ❤️.

Today was definitely a for me 💕. Lately, especially on Sundays, I’ve truly felt God changing me for the better and guiding me to know how to handle the never ending problems that seem to arise as a parent.

I’ve seen His hand in my life today in myself and the precious moments I have with my kids when I’m able to be the kind of parent I want to be.

The primary children got to practice for their program next week today and I got to help and hear L sing louder than everyone else 😂🥰. Later the kids and I played Simon says, they ate their dinner really well, and we all had a great time playing together at the temple after dinner, ending our day with the usual bedtime routine and one on one moments.

L usually has us sing lots of songs including 3 versions of happy birthday and wraps one of his animals in a blanket to give to me as a gift to open, T talks about rules and we play the good choice/bad choice game, and J talks about anything and everything asking millions of questions. Lately he’s been asking me to tell him about different members of our family; tonight he wanted me to talk about Grandpa W 😍.

“We just went to get pictures taken and J wanted his taken with a pencil behind his ear. So he could look smarter. ♥️😂♥️ I told him it was ok but if you’d like him not to let me know and I’ll run him down again.”

….So if any of you are going for the , you now know how to achieve it 🤣.

Playing Twister with a 4 year old be like….

T: “head upside down on bwoo spot.”

”hans on green spots.”

Since my head is upside down I ask: “is this good?”
T: “thas not good, have to put 2 hans on green spots *proceeds to show me*…thas right.”

“half to do somersault on bwoo.…”

Some days you wake up with the best intentions of being a patient, kind and calm parent. Then, after the 5th ridiculous catastrophe in the first 5 minutes-spilled cereal, walking into the counter, punching and kicking, a meltdown when you make them exactly what they asked for for breakfast, and spilled cereal again (the same child), etc., you simply lose it.

And then there are days when you are able to remain patient and calm even though the circus is the same and children are repeating their same antics. On those days I can feel the Holy Ghost carrying me through and calming my heart and mind. I feel the of Jesus working in me to make my weaknesses strengths. I wish this was everyday, but I treasure those days when it does happen and I’m that because of He can perfect my overall efforts and help me not only be forgiven, but can change me for the better 🥰.

We're Angela and Zach a family living in Utah, for 12 years, and have adopted all 3 of our precious boys 🥰! We cannot have children of our own so we choose to grow through the miracle of .

We can and are willing to adopt anywhere within the United States and are open to adopting any gender, ethnicity, or a sibling group. We are and able to start the process as soon as needed ☺️!

We have adopted both privately, and through our previous experience as foster parents. We try to do our best to help both birth moms and families feel they are still a part of their child’s life as much as they want to be, sharing photos for them to look at whenever they wish. Children in our home know, and will know, that they are loved by us, you, God, and their extended family ❤!

We can only imagine what you are going through and the life changing decision that lies ahead for both you and your child. Through our previous experiences with adopting we know that things work out how they are meant to and that God is helping you and your child through this, you are not alone! We are praying for you, you are loved and cherished more than you may know 💕!
