Thank You to Our Incredible Team Members

During the recent cold and icy weather, our Parkwest and Peninsula team members once again showed what true commitment looks like. Many of you stayed overnight, slept on air mattresses or in empty rooms, and did whatever it took to make sure you were here for your patients and for each other.

Your dedication kept our hospitals running safely. Your compassion kept our patients cared for. And your teamwork kept our community strong during a challenging weather event.

We are deeply grateful for every person who braved the weather, adjusted their schedules, or went the extra mile to support their unit. Your actions reflect the very best of who we are.

🎉 Happy National Activities Coordinator Week! 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible work of Activities Coordinators across the country — and we’re especially proud to recognize Jack, our Activities Coordinator at Peninsula Hospital.

Jack leads groups and activities across the hospital every day, creating meaningful moments of connection, engagement, and support for our patients. He also plays a key role in special programming, including helping with our H.A.B.I.T. dog visits and sound therapy groups.

Jack is truly passionate about mental health, and it shows in the way he cares for our patients and supports our team. His compassion, creativity, and steady presence make a difference here every single day.

ComPASS Support Group: Support for Survivors of Su***de Loss

For those who have lost a loved one to su***de, finding a safe place to share, connect, and heal can make a meaningful difference. Peninsula hosts the ComPASS Support Group, a monthly gathering designed to offer support, understanding, and education for individuals navigating this unique and difficult grief.

The next session meets on Tuesday, January 27, from 3–4 p.m. at the Peninsula Lighthouse, 1451 Dowell Springs Blvd., Lower Level.
ComPASS stands for Communicating the Pain as Su***de Survivors — a reminder that no one has to walk this journey alone.

This group is open to anyone who has lost a family member, friend, or coworker to su***de.
