Congratulations to Amy, one of our August Employees of the Month! She is a CNA and has been part of our team for 1 year. Here is what we received in her nomination:
🌟 Amy is one of our CNAs on step-down. She works very hard to ensure her patients receive excellent care. You can always count on Amy to help her team, and she's consistently kind and supportive. She goes above and beyond daily, and we're blessed to have her on our team.

🌟 Amy’s a fantastic team player, always ready to lend a hand to her team and share a laugh, even on the busiest days. Whether she’s caring for patients, or helping other departments as needed, Amy creates a positive vibe that everyone loves.
When asked for the "why" behind her work, Amy said: "I have a total of 23 years of experience in healthcare, with the past year spent at LeConte. I genuinely enjoy working with patients and bringing smiles to their faces. I appreciate that my colleagues embrace teamwork and prioritize patient-centered care. Currently, I work primarily in the Intermediate Care Unit, where I have the privilege of collaborating with some of the best nurses I have ever met."
