Early detection saves lives. With low-dose CT screenings, our team can detect lung nodules, including cancerous tumors, sooner than ever before.

Check with your insurance or Medicare provider regarding your eligibility for low-dose CT screening for lung cancer.
The criteria typically include:
- Age 50-80
- No signs or symptoms of lung cancer
- History of smoking to***co
- Current smoker or one who quit within the last 15 years

As a part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Methodist Medical Center will be one of five centers with the Covenant Health system to have opened appointments for the special nationwide screening event on Saturday, November 8. Methodist currently has appointment times throughout the 9 AM – 5 PM timeframe.
