‘Tis the season of giving. And at MMC we are so incredibly lucky to have folks like Terry, Nancy and Andrew who give so much of their time to care for our patients. As a Transporter, Andrew brought joy to his patients who were spending Christmas Eve in the hospital. And this morning, Terry and Nancy from our amazing Volunteer team, visited with patients and brought not only stockings but the gift of kindness. People like Andrew, Terry and Nancy, along with our caregivers working this holiday, represent the true meaning of this season. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas ❤️🎄

High fives to our hospital administration team for spreading a little extra cheer to our incredible staff! To say thank you for the dedication shown every day, team members were treated to special T-shirts—a fun way to celebrate unity and pride as we close out the year.

The celebration didn’t stop there! Everyone enjoyed a well-deserved snack break, highlighted by warm, delicious cookies courtesy of the DoubleTree Hotel. A sweet moment to pause, connect, and recharge together.

We’re grateful for our amazing team and community partners who help make Methodist Medical Center such a supportive and caring place to work. Thank you for all you do—today and every day!

Holiday cheer is in full swing at Methodist Medical Center!

Yesterday, we were thrilled to celebrate our incredible medical staff with a festive holiday gathering that honored their compassion, dedication, and hard work all year long. In the true spirit of giving, we also shared the joy beyond the party—recycling our beautiful wreaths and poinsettias to brighten patients’ rooms throughout the hospital.

Adding an extra dose of magic, Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by to spread smiles, laughter, and holiday cheer, making the day even more special for our staff.

Thank you to our amazing team for everything you do, and for helping make the season brighter for one another and for our patients.

Last Friday’s Sensory-Sensitive Santa event was pure holiday magic! ✨

The holiday season is filled with bright lights, joyful music, and festive excitement—but for many children with sensory processing challenges, these same traditions can feel overwhelming. At Methodist Pediatric Therapy, we believe every child deserves to experience the wonder of the holidays in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and joyful.

A quiet space, gentle interactions, and lots of smiles made it the perfect Santa visit for children with sensory needs. We’re so grateful to our families and therapists for making it special.

A HUGE shoutout to our incredible Food Services Team for their exceptional efforts all year long but especially during this busy holiday season! From festive events to special catering for our staff and patients, this team has gone above and beyond to bring joy and nourishment to everyone. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication made every meal special and helped us celebrate the season with warmth and cheer. We couldn’t have done it without them! It was a special treat to once again be able to host our multi-chamber Christmas Coffee and Holiday Lights for Health event! Members of the Oak Ridge, Anderson County, Rocky Top and Roane County chambers heard about the incredible work of MMC's Hospitality Houses and were wowed once again by talented performer and former MMC RN, Jason Robinson and his equally talented wife, Kristen. Thank you to all who stopped by and shared in this morning's fellowship!
