Not only is Halee an amazing part of our ER team, she is also a member of a local volunteer fire department. We appreciate you, Halee!

We stand with the families and survivors whose lives were forever changed, and we renew our commitment to care, to heal, and to never forget. Methodist Medical Center and Covenant Health were honored to be a sponsor for the third annual Secret City EMS Expo held earlier this week. The two-day event was a collaboration between Anderson County and Y-12 EMS organizations and offered participants a great opportunity to learn from different agencies across the community.

Huge shout-out to our chefs, Dariusz Urbanowicz and Chad Scaife, along with our Food and Nutrition leader, Miles Denton, for the delicious buffet they provided participants.

Thanks also to our chief nursing officer, Shaun Clayton, and chief support officer, Jay Shepherd, for sharing our gratitude to our EMS colleagues for their partnership in caring for your community. These first responders are our lifeline to the frontline, and our recent Gold Award recognitions from the American Heart Association around urgent heart care would not be possible without their teamwork.

Our thanks to Dr. William Johnson and the Oak Ridge Senior Center participants for another great MED Talk yesterday! It was an informative discussion around the recognition and prevention of depression in seniors.

Our urgent heart care awards for STEMI and NSTEMI from the American Heart Association could not be complete without a special shout out to our amazing ER team! This group of professionals works tirelessly with our EMS partners, cardiology physicians and interventional team to provide the expert care when time is of the essence. Thank you for everything you do 24/7 for your patients and this community.
