We support local business and happenings on this page and very rarely tag followers of this group, but today it is necessary to clarify the purpose of this group. Some of you do not visit our group to scroll the content which is 99.9% community info, but you respond when tagged which rarely happens. We also use the tag on information that is time sensitive and when we want more people to see a post. Facebook doesn't get our information out quickly so this is why we use the feature every few weeks. The page is content-driven, meaning we rely on you to ask questions and make comments about issues affecting Knox County.
