The Take My Hand Foundation

The Take My Hand Foundation Helping first responders and their families find trusted support through connection, guidance, and referral.

We believe who you’re connected to matters.

That’s why we work only with vetted partner organizations that align with our values of dignity, integrity, and respect. Referrals are made thoughtfully — not automatically.

Trust is built carefully, and we take that seriously.

How The Take My Hand Foundation works is simple by design:

1️⃣ Reach out
2️⃣ We listen and review
3️⃣ We connect you to trusted support

No pressure.
No assumptions.
Just thoughtful navigation toward the right help.

Support doesn’t only affect the person wearing the uniform.

We exist for:
• First responders
• Spouses and families
• Those supporting someone who serves

If you or someone you love isn’t sure where to start, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

At The Take My Hand Foundation, we don’t provide direct services or therapy.

What we do is help first responders and their families navigate where to turn for support by connecting them to trusted, vetted organizations.

When someone is overwhelmed and doesn’t know what the next step should be, clarity matters.
That’s where we come in. 🤝

We’re honored to welcome Redeemer’s Herd and Rescue as a partner organization with The Take My Hand Foundation.

Founded by Traci, Redeemer’s Herd and Rescue is rooted in a powerful belief: that healing, strength, and hope can be found through connection, community, and the unique bond between people and horses. Their work is especially meaningful for service members and first responders seeking supportive, restorative spaces.

Redeemer’s Herd is stepping into its very first year of operation with courage, faith, and purpose. Even while navigating profound personal loss and unexpected challenges, Traci and her team remain committed to the calling behind this mission and to building a future where this work can continue to grow.

At The Take My Hand Foundation, our role is to connect individuals and families to trusted organizations doing meaningful work. We’re grateful to include Redeemer’s Herd and Rescue among the resources we can point people toward as part of that network.

Please join us in welcoming Redeemer’s Herd and Rescue and supporting their journey as they move forward, one step at a time.

At The Take My Hand Foundation, our mission has always been simple: to ensure first responders and their families can find the right support when it matters most.

As we continue to grow, we’ve taken intentional steps to clarify our role and strengthen how we serve our community. The Take My Hand Foundation is a referral and navigation organization — we do not provide direct services or counseling. Instead, we connect individuals to vetted nonprofit and community resources, helping make access to support clearer and less overwhelming.

This focus allows us to:
• Strengthen collaboration among support organizations
• Protect ethical boundaries and trust
• Build a reliable network of resources for first responders and families

There are many incredible organizations providing hands-on care and peer support. Our role is to help people find and reach those services — especially when navigating the system feels hard.

We’re grateful for the community that continues to support this work and look forward to building something that is thoughtful, sustainable, and rooted in trust.
