TALUS FRACTURE | The talus is the main connector between the foot and leg, and it helps transfer weight and pressure across the _ _ _ _ _ joint. It sits just above the heel bone (calcaneus), and together, the talus and calcaneus are critical to your ability to walk.

A talus fracture is usually the result of a serious trauma to the foot, such as a fall from a great height or a car accident. When fractured, movement becomes difficult and painful, and if the fracture does not heal properly, it can cause complications and impair your ability to walk.
