It’s rare disease day, and I live with a rare disease: CLL/SLL. Even though CLL is the most common type of leukemia, it is still considered rare as only 4-5 out of 100,000 are diagnosed each year. The average age of a patient diagnosed is 72, and 2/3 are men. I was diagnosed at 40, so I’m extra rare! Do you live with a rare disease? Let’s learn about it and comment below!
