Newborn sleep doesn’t have to feel impossible!
If you’re running on empty and wondering why your baby won’t sleep, you’re not alone. I’ve got 3 simple hacks that make a real difference — without adding pressure or guilt.
1️⃣ Track naps, not just nighttime sleep
Your baby’s total awake time is the real key. Short naps add up, so plan bedtime around how long they’ve been awake, not the clock.
2️⃣ Set a short wind-down routine
Dim lights, soft sounds, gentle touch. These tiny cues signal that it’s almost bedtime and help your newborn’s nervous system settle.
3️⃣ Accept the 3 AM snack breaks
Middle-of-the-night feedings or rocking sessions count as bonding and give you a mini reset too. Your self-care doesn’t have to be perfect — even a bite of something nourishing helps.
💌 Mama tip: Sleep is a skill — for both baby AND you. Celebrate small wins, and remember: you’re doing enough.
