Did you know that requiring a cleared plate can lead to unhealthy eating habits-- impacting a child's health long-term?

Instead, offer balanced options and let your child decide how much to eat. You can offer calorie-dense and nutrient-dense options so that they meet appropriate dietary standards while also taking into account their individual needs. That is how healthy habits are formed!

📚 recognize all letters

🧨 It is Myth-Busting Monday! 🧨

When your child is sick, you just want them to feel better fast. 🤧

However, antibiotics aren't always the answer. Most common symptoms from colds like coughs and runny nose are caused by viruses. Viruses cannot be treated by antibiotics, so if antibiotics are administered-- it can actually do more harm than good!

If you're unsure what your child needs, give us a call and we will make sure they get the right care-- every time. 🩺🧡

Serving the children of Knoxville and beyond with 3 convenient locations.

Our providers and exceptional staff have been committed to helping infants, children and adolescents stay healthy since 1925.

We have 3 clinic locations with a total of 7 physicians, all of whom are board certified pediatricians and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

All locations are open Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (closed from 12-1 for lunch). We offer same-day sick appointments on Saturdays from 8am – 12pm at the West and Seymour offices.

All locations are closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day (only open half-day on Christmas Eve). In cases of inclement weather, please call or check our FaceBook page for updated hours.
