As my clients know and most that have followed several years of my spa journey on here, I have traded the business owner life to be back in a multi-therapist spa setting and it has been a much needed, beautiful change.
Sometimes moving forward can look like you’re going backwards, but you always end up where you’re meant to be and I have missed so much working and collaborating with colleagues all working towards the same goal and knowing you have an encouraging and supportive team you know will be there.
Having everything on my shoulders at my business left me burnt out even though I love what I do, working 24/7 - work and home because it’s not just doing the treatments, it’s so much more, the whole back end of the business and then trying to have a personal life (🤣🤣🤣 who am I kidding) there were moments. Lol. Which all left me stressed and sick A LOT. And then just the instability with renting spaces. 😅😅😅 (IYKYK)
Some people might be able to work well in “chaos” but I am definitely not one, so I chose peace and healing over more unknowns and less time to be able to live life which ultimately helps me to better take care of my clients as well as myself which is better for everyone. 💖
Over the last several months, I did a lot of checking my ego. Creating a unique space and putting all of yourself and all of your time into it can be a very hard thing to let go of. I constantly had to focus back on if I was letting my ego keep me from making the changes I needed to make and when that answer became a full fledged 100% yes, I knew what I had to do even though walking away from something I created was going to be one of the hardest things to do.
Surrendering to the ego ended up being a beautiful moment of growth in being able to still be happy while detaching myself from what had been my identity for so long.
I say all this to say, don’t be afraid to make that change that will set you free regardless of what binds you to it.
My new home is a beautiful little oasis with chill vibes and unique and creative treatments that have always been important to me and I’m so grateful to be apart of a great group of women.
Come see me! 🧜♀️
