BowEcho Chase Team We are a group of Storm Chasers/Meteorologist from Central, IN and our goal is to photograph and wa Many of us are also CPR and First Aid certified.

BowEcho Chase team was founded in 2012 by lead forecaster and Meteorologist James Longwith. BowEcho Chase Team is a collaboration of weather enthusiasts, many of whom are meteorology and climatology students or local SkyWarn spotters. In addition, we do storm chasing during periods of severe weather. Safety is of the utmost importance for our team, and all members are required to attend a safety class taught by a member of the leadership team. We provide live chasing feeds, photography, news, forecasts, local weather, and information about severe weather outbreaks. We also offer storm spotting classes and elementary meteorology courses. For more information about the team, please send us a message. Our mission is to save lives, help out in the warning process, document mother nature, and send accurate weather reports to the NWS. We will be out chasing today but under our new name. I will post when we have our new page up.
SPC Day 1 Outlook.
Today, the SPC has issued an enhanced risk for severe storms within our region. I have attached the associated hazards maps where damaging winds and hail look to be the primary threats along with a chance for some tornadoes. Storms are expected to start around 21z (4 PM) and continue through the evening hours.
