Small is powerful when it comes to food.
Local, small-scale agriculture uses fewer resources, creates less waste, and keeps food closer to the people eating it.
Microgreens are a perfect example — they grow quickly, need less water and space, and don’t require massive industrial systems to produce.
That means fresher food, a smaller environmental footprint, and more connection between grower and customer.
Often the most sustainable solution isn’t bigger… it’s smaller 🌱
