NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. There are hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations, and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education to those
in need of these services. NAMI relies on gifts and contributions to support our important work. NAMI Wisconsin’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by mental illness and to promote recovery. They do this by:
- Promoting public education and understanding of mental illness
- Advocate at all levels of government and through the public sector to improve mental health care.
- Support affiliates by providing follow- up advice and counsel, education and training.
- Establish and strengthen local affiliates to keep with NAMI’s principals and guidelines. Vernon County NAMI
