Today, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who never made it home.

For many of us, Memorial Day is personal. We carry memories of friends, teammates, and brothers and sisters we served beside. The people who impacted our lives long after the uniform came off.

The military teaches you the meaning of teamwork, sacrifice, and standing beside one another no matter what. That bond never really leaves you, and neither do the people we’ve lost.

At Coastal Medix, we recognize that Memorial Day touches many members of our team and community in deeply personal ways. Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment of silence to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave everything in service to our country.

We remember them not only for how they died, but for how they lived, served, laughed, led, and stood beside us.

From all of us at Coastal Medix, we remember and honor.

EMS looks different than it did in 1981, but the mission remains the same.

Thank you to everyone who has worn the uniform, taught a class, answered a radio, supported a patient, or helped build this team into what it is today.

Carter & Ryley are helping us teach BIG lifesaving skills in kid-sized language, because learning how an AED works shouldn’t be scary.

Today they’re explaining what an AED does, how it helps the heart, and why anyone can use one in an emergency.
