Join us in welcoming our newest case manager, Rashelle!! 🎉

She gave birth to boy/ girl twins in 2016. It was then that Rashelle fell in love with surrogacy and knew she wanted to continue helping others.

Rashelle has three children of her own. The youngest being adopted.

In her spare time, she is almost always at the fields. She is a total sports mom. Her son plays travel baseball and football, her daughter plays travel softball, and her youngest is a tumbling queen who will start cheering shortly.

When her family is not at the fields they like to go camping with their family and friends. They love the beach, desert, river—anywhere they can park their trailer.

👶 Post-Birth Arrangements: Plan for various scenarios, including potential medical complications. Discuss with healthcare providers to have a clear understanding of protocols and procedures to ensure a smooth transition for the baby’s care.

👶 Medical Information Sharing: Ensure all relevant medical information is shared among the intended parents, surrogate, and the medical team. This includes the surrogate's medical history, the baby’s health status, and any special considerations that need to be addressed immediately after birth.

👶 Travel Arrangements: Organize travel and accommodation plans well in advance, considering possible changes in delivery dates. ❓ : What is the parental rights confirmation process?

❤️ The parental rights confirmation process aims to establish your rights as parents and terminate the rights of your surrogate (and her husband, if she is married). The process usually begins once you are safely into the second trimester.

❤️ Once you have consulted with your attorney and all documents have been reviewed and signed, they will draft and file pleadings for your case in the appropriate state court, and schedule a court hearing. The judges who review these types of cases are familiar with the subject matter and work regularly with our attorneys. Generally, only one attorney is required to appear at the hearing for both parties involved. Barring any extraordinary circumstances, a judgment is often issued the same day as the hearing and certified copies are usually available to you directly from your attorney shortly thereafter.
