Hands over Heart Shamanic work, such as soul retrieval, helps people come back to themselves, reconnecting with all the parts they've lost, forgotten, denied or disowned.

I offer shamanic healing, soul retrieval, and shamanic training. I've written several books and created a number of recordings. This page has free information designed to support you in your spiritual as well as your human journey. My commitment to healing work is part of my deep commitment to my own growth and healing. As a former mechanical engineer, I have always understood the necessity of system integrity. The human spirit is a highly complex system, which can break down in complex and subtle ways. Much of my shamanic work is oriented towards wholeness. I help people find their way back to themselves, all the parts they've lost, forgotten, denied and disowned. I love the elegance, simplicity and power of soul retrieval. It is deeply rewarding to know that an hour of my time is often life changing for my client, affording them unprecedented levels of wholeness and right relationship to the universe.

I’m getting ready to release my new podcast, A Shamanic Experience which has journeys into the energy of place with practical ways to listen to the living land. The first five episodes (Yukon, Peru Part 1 & 2, Rosslyn Chapel, and a Welcome) are queued up.

I just watch a huge and beautiful turkey vulture circle overheard. I stopped to look up with awe and wonder and said out loud, “Hey gorgeous!” It reminded me of a friend of mine who was driving for a school trip with her teenage son. He provided her with a very specific list of things she was forbidden to do so as not to embarrass him in front of his classmates. Not saying namaste to hawks was one of the directives.
