This is pure, unconditional LOVE.

This past weekend, my goddess gals and I reunited after 14 months!! Talk about medicine 🏥 for the mind, body & spirit ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

We hiked, danced, wished, wondered, felt, released, nourished, and bonded under the 🌕 moon; we held space for one another to process our feelings, intentions and our experiences of life within this pandemic; we honored each other through honesty, grace, kindness & understanding; we laughed & laughed some more; we reveled in just BEing (4 very different personalities who can just get along), we received massages and basked in the sun; we got back into our mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ skin and soaked in the water; we were open to trusting & trying new things...

This is healthy and secure attachment! This is unconditional love! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Basically we were a hybrid of mature adults & little kiddos (the best of both worlds) living the life we have dreamed, earned and worked so hard for🗯💭 Pinch 🤏 me 🥰 Oh,
I am not dreaming. This is our life and I am feeling beyond GRATEFUL 🙏🏽

By taking responsibility for ourself, we are putting our best 🦹🏽‍♀️ self to work. We are in action!💥We are wearing our ‘Sunday best’ from the inside out ♥️ 🧠. Our highest self is the version of us that is impeccable, conscious, conscientious, mindful, and who we truly want to be in the world. It is our absolute BEST version of ourself - what we are capable of giving, being, feeling, thinking and doing to the best of our ability.

Always, but especially right now (having been in a pandemic for over a year now) we NEED to take care of ourself!! We need to tend to our emotions!! We NEED to be decent with others (salutations, kindness, smiles go a long way 🙂) all the time, as much as we can, especially when we’re having a hard time!! We owe it to ourself, our community, the 🌎 at large...

Reaching my highest potential has always been one of my life goals. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s not. When it’s easy, it’s easy, enjoy the flow! When it’s challenging, this is the time to put your super hero 🦸‍♂️ costume on and take action! Really close your eyes and 🗯💭Imagine putting on the costume! 🗯Imagine that you are holding a handful of heart 🎈 🎈 balloons and fly into the sky to feel your highest self. 💭🗯Imagine the person who you are having difficulty being kind or having compassion for as a baby 👶🏽. Talk to others as though they are the most magical beings 🦄 on earth.

I hope you’re all safe and healthy. What a blessing it is to be ALIVE today and everyday. Let’s do our best to be our BEST!! ♥️

Happy ❤️ Mommy day! This was a gift 🎁 from my caring, thoughtful, creative (& so much more) daughter!

When kids gift 🎁 presents, this is their way of telling us that that they have absorbed us into their psyche & emotional body. Gifts from kiddos mean that he/she/they feel safe, close, respected, understood & valued. Gifts are a way to express love, care, appreciation, saying “thank you for keeping me safe,” “thank you for seeing me,” “thank you for your responsiveness.” ❤️❤️❤️

As a therapist, homemade gifts from my child clientele mean the world for the therapeutic process. It means that he/she/they have internalized our bond and that they trust our relationship, that they feel a sense of safety & value. To internalize means to incorporate into one’s psyche, value, conscious and subconscious. So, a gift means, “you are special & important to me,” “I feel special & important when I am with you.”

Bonding is such a beautiful process - emotionally 💚 , psychologically 🧠 , chemically ⚛️, electrically⚡️ , relationally 👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏼.

ROOOOOAAAARRR your loudest ROAR 🦁. It’s FRIII-YAY!

The most requested song in my DJing gig (yes, my kiddo hires me everyday! 🎶) is ROAR by Katy Perry. When I was 7 or 8 years old, I remember playing Eye of the Tiger (DUN 💥 dunh dunh dunh, dunh dunh dunh, dunh dunh dunhh) over and over on my record player. I still remember the sound of the needle!

Gahhhh! 😍 Music is playing all the time in our house, in our car, in our bodies, in our head 🎶 Right now, I am in LOVE with new album “We will always love ❤️ you.”
