Welcome to the Dr. Ekmark Family Medicine Team, Ashley Barnes, Physician Assistant.

She is seeing patients starting Monday, January 5, 2026.

Ashley Barnes, PA, completed her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University before earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 12 years of experience across multiple areas of medicine, including pediatrics, gynecology, and family medicine.

Building strong patient relationships is central to her practice. She truly enjoys getting to know families, neighbors, and community members—and partnering with them to support lifelong wellness.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and is a proud mother of three young children.
