🎉 Congratulations to Brigid Christensen – September Employee of the Month!

As the Pharmacy Program Manager, Brigid plays a vital role in supporting participants in integrating the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) into their electronic health records. She works closely with newly licensed pharmacists and clinicians across Nebraska, guiding them through PDMP registration and ensuring pharmacy compliance with reporting standards. Brigid also works with state partners to enhance public health and promote the responsible use of prescription medications through the PDMP.

What Brigid loves most about her job:
"It's incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact our work has on the community." Brigid is passionate about engaging with clinicians and participants of CyncHealth. "I value the opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes that support the health and well-being of Nebraskans."

🎉 We're honored to share that Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative has been recognized at the 2025 Civitas Annual Conference with the Moving Data into Action Award!

The Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative received the Moving Data into Action Award for its goal of integrating statewide health records, claims, prescription data, and health-related social needs data to inform policy, close care gaps, and support vulnerable populations across our communities.

The Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative, powered by CyncHealth, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming health data into actionable insights that improve care delivery, outcomes, and equity. Its work supports providers, policymakers, and communities in identifying care gaps, reducing disparities, and advancing population health across Nebraska and beyond.

Congratulations to our President & CEO, Dr. Jaime Bland, DNP, RN, who has been recognized with the Leadership Excellence Award at the 2025 Civitas Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA!

Dr. Bland was celebrated for her visionary leadership, transforming CyncHealth into a nationally recognized health data utility. Since becoming CEO, she has grown the organization to include CyncHealth Iowa, the Midwest Institute for Community Health (MICH), and the Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative.

Since 2018, Dr. Bland has led CyncHealth. Her leadership encompasses guiding national conversations on interoperability and health equity, as well as the expansion of CyncHealth. Her commitment to innovation, interoperability, and improving healthcare continues to inspire her team and those with whom she collaborates.
