🌿 Who We Are & What We Do 🌿
Hi friends, new and old 🤍
We’ve had so many new faces join us recently, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share the heart behind what we do here at Folk Medicine Farm Apothecary.
My name is Hannah, and I’m a clinical herbalist, born and raised right here in West Georgia. This little shop on Hill Street is more than just a store, it’s a calling, a passion, and a place built on the belief that herbal medicine should be accessible to everyone.
🌿 What We Do:
• We handcraft small-batch herbal medicines—teas, tinctures, syrups, salves, and more—using locally sourced, homegrown, and thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
• We offer one-on-one herbal consultations to support your health naturally and holistically.
• We teach classes and workshops to help bring herbal knowledge back into our community.
• We partner with local farms, midwives, and families to keep traditional plant medicine alive and thriving.
And maybe most importantly…
🤍 We serve our community.
In October 2025, we started our Porch Pantry after seeing a need when SNAP benefits were cut. What started as a small effort has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.
Because of YOU, we have:
• Helped feed countless families
• Provided hygiene items to those in need
• Given out thousands of bottles of water during the summer
• Hosted free herbal clinics in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene
• Supplied midwives and families with essential herbal support
This shop runs on love, faith, and community support, and we are so grateful to be a small part of something so much bigger.
If you’re new here, welcome 🤍
If you’ve been with us for a while, thank you for walking this journey with us.
We’re not just an apothecary…
We’re a community.
Herbal medicine is God’s medicine and we love sharing it with you!
With love,
Hannah & Kyla🌿
