There is a difference between Deep tissue massage and Deep pressure massage:
Deep pressure massage can be sustained throughout the entire massage. Deep Tissue is only used for targeted areas. A Deep Tissue massage is slow and through; working through the muscle tissues layer by layer.

Did you know :
That the only thing a heating pad is good for is menstrual cramps? It's dry heat, which will cause inflammation. Try moist heat, like a hot epsom salt bath or get a damp rag and put it in the microwave! Once that muscle is relaxed and warmed up try giving it a light stretch if you can.
