Let's give a big shoutout to our July Volunteer Spotlight, Joy! 🎉

Joy volunteered at Lifecare first and then was excited to volunteer at Bravely when she heard about the new ĒMA (Every Mother’s Advocate) program.

Joy and her husband, Bob, live in Lafayette and are blessed with two daughters and two sons. Their daughters have wonderful Christian spouses. Joy enjoys caring for her family and her two little granddaughters.

She attends the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church, where she teaches Sunday School. Joy is also a BSF School Program Children's Leader in Lafayette.

Her hobbies are walking, hiking, and biking with her husband, and reading. Joy is fluent in Spanish because her family ministered in orphanages in Mexico for 12 years.

Her favorite part of volunteering in the ĒMA program is the opportunity to share God's love and pray with her clients.

This is what hope looks like. 💛🐝

Meet Erica, our amazing Lafayette EMA Coordinator, and one of the moms she’s been mentoring through the Every Mother’s Advocate (EMA) program. She is holding this sweet baby girl!

It’s such a joy to see the bond that forms through mentorship. From pregnancy to postpartum, EMA mentors walk alongside moms offering encouragement, practical support, prayer, and—most of all—friendship.

This client was so excited to share this photo, and we’re just as excited to share it with you. The truth is, you can help a mom like this too.
