Evan, Lucas, and Dr. Williams had a great time at the National Stuttering Association annual conference last week. One of the highlights was the Saturday workshop for kids they facilitated. The kids were very engaged and responded enthusiastically to the activities we planned!

Also, our Lafayette NSA chapter got selected as the 2025 Family Chapter of the Year!

We look forward to spreading the message of hope and stuttering advocacy on campus and to others who may benefit within our larger community.

New doctor alert ⚠️

Patricia Arias-Hunt successfully defended her dissertation this morning!

Her study, Your Theory is Showing: Unpacking Power Mismatches During Clinical Interactions with an Autistic Child, was co-chaired by Dr. Jamie Azios and Dr. Nelson. Dr. Damico, Dr. Weill, Dr. Arrington and Dr. Percle serving as fabulous committee members.

This dissertation represents the 70th successful defense in the program history.😮
