So… what is Buti Yoga?
It’s this wild, high-energy combo of yoga, dance, and plyometrics that will have you sweating, shaking, and smiling all at once. And guess what — it’s offered right here at Yoga village in Lafayette!

I tried it out as part of my Lamorinda Strong Pass, and I’ll admit… I wasn’t totally sure what I was walking into. But I ended up loving it.

A few highlights:

Within the first 6 minutes I wished I had my Apple Watch on (my heart was flying)… and also my water bottle because wow. 🥵

About 25 minutes in, I was huffing, puffing, and thinking, “Shoot… I really need to get my pedicure done.” Priorities, right?

I’ll be honest — I probably managed about 50% of the moves (if we’re being generous).

And huge shoutout to owner ValerieMoore, who does an amazing job teaching this class. Her energy totally carries you through.

When the instructor finally said “Happy Baby Pose,” I knew we were wrapping up, I was sweaty, exhausted, and oddly thrilled.
Next time: I’ll definitely bring my water bottle… and get my nails done first.

Highly recommend giving it a try — just be ready to sweat, laugh, and maybe question your life choices around minute 20.
