We are already into February 2026!! Your 2026 coverage is locked in and began on January 1st.

If you missed the window or are unhappy with your plan when it starts, don't worry! You still have options, but they depend on your unique situation:

1-MAOEP: If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, the MAOEP runs Jan 1 - Mar 31.

2-SEPs: Qualifying life events (like moving or losing other coverage) can trigger a Special Enrollment Period.

Medicare : What You Need to Know This Season

Medicare can be confusing but it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few key reminders to help you stay informed:

✅ Medicare Advantage (Part C) may include benefits Original Medicare doesn’t, like dental, vision, hearing, OTC allowances, and gym memberships.

✅ Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) vary widely. Make sure your medications are covered at the lowest cost.

✅ Supplement (Medigap) plans help cover deductibles and coinsurance for those who prefer flexibility and no network.

✅ Your needs can change each year and so can your plan.

It’s important to review your coverage annually to avoid surprises and make sure you’re getting every benefit you qualify for.
