👉🏻 I used to be anti-GLP-1.

Not skeptical.
Firmly against it.

I believed in discipline.

And for a long time, that worked.

Until it didn’t.

I started noticing the same pattern in myself and in the women around me:

Stuck weight gain patterns.
Brain fog.
Inflammation.
Body composition shifting despite crazy discipline.

Doing everything “right”…
and getting nothing in return.

It wasn’t motivation.
It was physiology.

I experimented with a micro of a microdose.

And that was all my body needed to connect the dots.

Yes- the physical results were one thing. I felt my physique matched my efforts especially after losing 10% body fat in 6 months with the right lifestyle inputs.

But the real shift?

Clearer thinking.

👉🏻GLP-1s get a bad wrap for reasons that are preventable.

The biggest one I see?

📈 Aggressive dose escalation.

Jumping up monthly isn’t always necessary. More is not better. In many cases, it leads to excessive appetite suppression, under-fueling, muscle loss, and burnout.

✅ When possible, working with a 503A compounding pharmacy allows for microdosing and finding your lowest effective dose with MD oversight.

The second issue?

📚 Lack of education and support.

GLP-1s are fascinating. They influence insulin sensitivity, inflammation, gut-brain signaling, and metabolic regulation. They can be an incredible tool for reducing systemic inflammation and improving metabolic health. So much more than just appetite suppression.

But they require strategy.

✅ Working with an experienced MD or GLP-1 coach is key to long-term success and preventing rebound.

And the third issue-the one most people ignore:

💪🏻 No muscle protection plan.

If you don’t prioritize:
• protein-forward nutrition
• adequate calories
• moving with resistance

you risk losing your greatest metabolic asset-muscle.

If you treat them like a shortcut and don’t put in the work, progress will stall and rebound can occur.

✅ If you use them intentionally -low dose, high intention, strong inputs-they can be a powerful tool for long-term metabolic health.

It takes work on your end.
