Jeremiah has been around addiction treatment for over two decades supporting individuals to find sanity and sobriety. A great antidote to the Monday/Post-Holiday blues is to do something nice for someone else.

Similar to practicing gratitude, the fields of
Neuroscience and Positive Psychology show doing good deeds triggers brain reward systems (dopamine, oxytocin), reduces stress (cortisol), strengthens empathy circuits (neuroplasticity), boosts mood, and improves overall health by fostering connection, purpose, and well-being, creating a “helper’s high” and fostering positive feedback loops. 🧠
