TRUTH BOMB 💣 I haven’t been doing any strength workouts. Like, since August.

I think I just got so burned out on it. Putting together workouts, teaching classes…I needed a break.

But I’ve been pretty consistent and hard-core focused on running 3-4 times a week. Still, runners need strength training, too.

So I did an upper body + core workout on Monday. I’m still feeling it.

New goal ➡️ One strength workout per week. Hold me accountable.

7️⃣ Miles {walking} — because tiring out my legs ahead of a 17-mile long run teaches them to persevere through back-to-back races, which is what I need them to do in January!

I treat these long walks like long runs, too, so I pack all the nutrition and use it accordingly ➡️ A serving of at the start, FastChews every 30 minutes, and or granola bites every 45 minutes. Water as needed.

Works every time.
