Explanations here:

1. Quick, you’re staying at Caribbean Beach and having breakfast at ‘Ohana. What do you do??

You’ll need to know a basic understanding of the buses, monorail, boats. Skyliner, AND which ones you need to collapse your stroller for.

2. Most people look at price and theming, even the pool that’s “best for kids”, over WHERE the resort is physically located, which is what you’ll end up caring about most.

3. You don’t need reservations for every meal, but you do need a plan of what food spots you’ll be near around breakfast, lunch, and dinner

…and which ones have order-ahead so you don’t have cranky kids.

4. Kids can’t hang from sun up until sundown, period.

5. Every age has it’s pros and cons. For one thing that’s “easier”, there’s something else that’s harder.

Bring them.

6. One of the biggest ones:

booking tickets and dining reservations just to be stuck pigeon-holing your plans to fit them.

(It should be the other way around!)

Did you know 22% of people who go to Disney say they’d never go back?

And honestly… I get it. 🫠

The crowds, the heat (er, hurricanes), and the price tag…it can be a lot to think it’s even worth it.

But (!!) it doesn’t have to feel like that.

If you know what ACTUALLY makes or breaks a trip (and no, it’s not booking a character meal 60 days out), you can skip the second-guessing and go straight to the good part.

Inside “Laid-Back Magic”, you’ll know step-by-step what you should be booking, what to skip, and support from yours truly:

(pst, I’ve been doing this since before I had 3 babies! 👧🏼👧🏼👦🏼)

“I feel like we could have done more.”

When I said this to my husband after a day in Magic Kingdom, I was complaining about the usual things that happen when you’re in Disney World with kids:

how long security took
how long our food took
a ride went down
a shoe went missing…

He pointed out the obvious things first: WELL we wanted to leave for naptime, PLUS the ferry let out at the worst time, etc...

then he asked, “anyways, what was your goal?”

And I realized: even though we go to Disney World often, there’s something in the ~~magical~~ air that says: more.

More.

MORE.

His question snapped me back into reality. Was my #1 priority for the trip to DO ALL THE THINGS?

Of course not.

So my question for you is:

When you bring your family to Disney World, what will your goal be? Tell me 👇🏼

The jump scare of 2009 ☠️

If you had told me seventeen years ago we’d be taking 3 (!!) kids to Disney World one day, I don’t think I would have believed you.

Fast forward to now, I know we’re both grateful. And exhausted 😅

Happy 17th, Kolt. There’s no one else I’d rather drink margaritas after riding Rider Switching Guardians with ✨

How 1000+ of us are planning differently👇🏼

I pay close attention to my members’ Disney World trips through their recaps (and sometimes I literally stalk their IG stories 👀)

And it all looks so…easy.

Deluxe resorts, fireworks, cuddles with Pooh bear, hands up on their first (!!) rollercoaster.

The kind of trip you see and think “must be nice.”

But here’s the thing.

If you really want to take the kids to Disney World and:

✔️ skip long lines

✔️ stay away from crowds

✔️ know where you’re headed and how to get there

✔️ pack only what you need

✔️ make your trip *special*

It’s all because of PRE-PLANNING
& that’s where you want to start.

Comment EPISODE to tune in 🎧

I expected the worst from our summer trip to Disney: last minute, HOT, and with a baby??

What ended up happening was…

+ planning a certain way
+ the right dining reservations
+ the right clothes/gear

= one of our favorite trips to date 🥹

Not completely—because yes, the My Disney Experience app is very important!—but even using just ONE of these things can reduce your screen time.
