On this Veterans Day, we honor Mr. Dwight Carter, husband of our founder Blenda Jones Carter, for his outstanding service.

He served in the United States Army from 1981 to 1985, with tours in Germany and Korea. He has continued a lifelong path of service through his nearly 40-year career with the Florida Department of Corrections, where he still serves today.

Mr. Carter’s dedication, discipline, and work ethic are an inspiration to our students, instructors, and future caregivers. We are grateful for his service to our nation and to our community.
