My heart is so full sharing this beautiful success story!💙

One of the incredible gentlemen I recently had the honor of helping move into an assisted living just celebrated his birthday — and what a special day it was!

From the very beginning, I learned how much he loves fishing🎣 So to make his new space feel even more like home, I had a custom fishing-themed room sign made just for him to hang proudly on his door. The smile on his face when he saw it is something I will never forget.

For Scott's birthday celebration the amazing assisted living owner, Ola partnered with me to make sure his birthday meal was absolutely perfect. They surprised him with his all-time favorites: meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, pie and Ice cream!

It made him feel so celebrated, cared for, and truly valued on his special day. THIS is why I do what I do. It’s not just about finding a safe place to live. It’s about creating a home. It’s about honoring who someone is. It’s about making sure our seniors feel seen, remembered, and celebrated — especially during milestones like birthdays. Seeing him smiling, enjoying his favorite meal, and proudly showing off his fishing sign reminded me that these thoughtful gestures make all the difference.

Scott personally asked to share the Google review (pictured below) that he wrote about the incredible impact Ohana Care Connections has had on his life. In his own words, he shares how moving into assisted living has allowed him to truly focus on his health, regain stability, and start looking ahead to his future with hope and purpose. Hearing how much he has improved since arriving reminds me why this work is so meaningful. When a client feels truly cared for, safe, supported, and genuinely happy-that means everything. As a social worker and as someone who deeply loves serving our seniors, moments like this are why I do what I do💙

It was so much fun helping bring in a sweet treat for the residents to enjoy at their Valentines Day party! The announcement of Valentines Day Prince, Princess, King and Queen truly made us grateful to be a part of this exciting day! Amazing job Haven Health Lake Havasu! Happy Valentines Day!💌

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day social filled with sweet treats, sparkling cider, and lots of smiles! From cupcakes and cookies to tea sandwiches and celebration toasts, it was a beautiful afternoon spent together.

A huge thank you to Haven Health Lake Havasu for welcoming Taylor from Ohana Care Connections to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the residents! Working together to bring smiles to the residents' faces is what it’s all about. It truly takes a village to share this much love!🥰

We had the best time crafting Valentine’s hearts, adorable ladybugs, dogs, pigs, and so many more fun creations. These crafts are perfect for residents to give to their loved ones or to add some festive cheer around the building! Everyone did an amazing job!✨

It was also wonderful to share more about what we do at Ohana Care Connections, helping seniors and families navigate finding the perfect assisted living community for their needs💖

The open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was truly an amazing thing to witness. The community coming together to celebrate a home that takes care of our seniors and give them the love they need and deserve. Ohana Care Connections had the absolute pleasure of co-hosting a pancake breakfast with our friends at Beacon of Hope Hospice, LLC for the wonderful residents of Beckett House right here in Lake Havasu City!

There is nothing quite like the smell of fresh pancakes to bring people together. It was a beautiful morning spent sharing a meal, catching up with residents, and discussing how our teams can continue to provide the best support and care for this incredible community.

We wrapped up the morning with a little extra excitement. Huge congratulations to our two lucky drawing winners who walked away with:

• 🌱 Hand-picked planting kits

Taylor, CEO of Ohana Care Connections had a fantastic time at tonight’s Lake Havasu City Chamber of Commerce after hours mixer. It was so refreshing to reconnect with our long-time community partners and equally exciting to meet so many new faces dedicated to making Havasu a better place.

A huge thank you to Mayor Cal Sheehy and our City Council members for taking the time to chat with us. We truly appreciated the opportunity to share the heart of Ohana Care Connections and discuss our ongoing mission to serve and support the seniors in our community. 🏠❤️

It truly meant so much to connect, share our heart for senior placement, and talk through how we thoughtfully complete intakes to ensure every client’s care needs, wishes, and financial comfort are fully honored when finding the right assisted living or memory care.
