The transition from Middle school to High school can be scary, exciting, shocking, and stressful. The challenges won't just be academic. I have helped students make this transition as a school counselor and now I would like to help your favorite rising Freshman. In this small group we will go over academic skills that are not taught in MS or HS and the social emotional/relational skills that will help round out the experience. Let's help them have the smoothest year possible!

My work with young adults often highlights the need for connection and I have been wanting set up some small groups in the Lake Mary/Heathrow area for some time to try and build connection and community.

I read so many awesome books fiction/non-fiction and I often see a throughline of mental health. My hope is to bring the young women in this area together to have deep and thoughtful discussions (and laugh too) about some of the popular books out right now. I always learn from books, characters, and storylines, lets do it together!
