Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we unite in the global movement to raise awareness and inspire hope.

Every year, more than 720,000 lives are lost to su***de worldwide, leaving lasting impacts on families, friends, workplaces, and communities.

The theme for 2024–2026 is “Changing the Narrative on Su***de.” Changing the narrative involves more than just initiating conversations; it also requires driving systemic change. This theme urges us to challenge stigma, improve access to quality mental health care, and ensure that individuals in distress receive the support they need.

For free, confidential support available 24/7, visit www.988lifeline.org or dial 998.
