Most of you know, but if you haven’t heard, due to health issues (residual issues from the stroke), I’ve made the difficult decision to close my salon and step away from doing hair. This hasn’t been an easy choice, because doing hair has never just been about the hair. It’s about the people I’ve met and the relationships I’ve made over the last 5 years and beyond. You’ve all brought me so much happiness and so many positive memories at Lakeside Style. I am so deeply grateful for each and every one of you who has trusted me, because of you I feel like I’m going out on top and more successful than I’ve ever been in my career. You’ve supported me, encouraged me, and blessed my life more than you’ll ever know!
At this point, I’ve shared trusted stylist recommendations with everyone who was scheduled. If you haven’t been able to contact one, or need further recommendations, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
This isn’t goodbye to the friendships we’ve built, it’s just a new chapter for all of us. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives. I love you all ♥️

My cup is FULL. Overflowing, actually! Every day and for some reason, especially this week, I’m reminded that I have the best clients and the most incredible relationships that fill my heart in ways I can’t even put into words. The love, the support, the genuine kindness—it all means the world to me. Your heartfelt words, your trust, and the energy you bring into my space make what I do so much more than just a job. 🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Dear clients, I’m thrilled to share that I’m getting back into the salon on a limited basis! After my recent health journey sent me on a detour, I’m now accepting 1 to 2 clients per day, mostly haircuts, for now. I’ll be working limited hours and won’t be available too late in the afternoon or evening, as I’m prioritizing my health.

I must admit, this whole process has been extremely overwhelming! I am so incredibly grateful that I have an abundant amount of amazing clients and I don’t know how to fit all of you in my limited schedule. Please understand that as I continue to navigate this process I will be referring some of you to my very favorite stylists in West Valley, Tooele and Lake Point that have generously offered to help us out. Thank you for trusting them and me, as I know that can be difficult and for understanding that this is the best way for me to help you by being able to share my formulas and some techniques that I have found work for your hair.

I understand that these scheduling changes may be inconvenient for some, and each day is going to be different and a challenge, but your support means the world to me, and I appreciate your understanding. Please feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to schedule accordingly.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I have been ill and in the hospital and, unfortunately, will need to cancel all appointments until I am able to recover fully. Your understanding and support during this time mean the world to me.

I finally had some time in my schedule to treat myself today and I cannot tell you how much I needed it and how amazing it was ♥️ I went to and had a ⭐️ Head Spa-Scalp Rejuvenation and Relaxation Treatment ⭐️ done, and OMG Y’ALL MUST GO!! And go now! It was an hour of scalp massaging and relaxing magic. Lucky you, I was able to snag some business cards and a couple coupons, so when I see you next, be sure to grab one so you can treat yourselves to Tonya’s awesomeness!

Happy Fall Y’all!! It’s still pretty toasty outside, which I’m loving. But I know most of you are wishing for cooler weather, so here’s some fall inspired color to get you in the mood! usually likes a subtle, more natural color, but wanted to spruce it up for fall.
