As the holidays approach, baking together can be a simple and joyful way to connect with the seniors you love. The smells, textures, and memories that come alive in the kitchen can spark conversation and lift spirits.
Try this easy No Fail Mug Apple Crisp:
🍎 1 apple (peeled and chopped)
🍎 1 tablespoon brown sugar
🍎 1 tablespoon oats
🍎 A sprinkle of cinnamon and a dab of butter
Mix everything in a microwave safe mug and cook for about 2 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream and enjoy warm.
