Meals on Wheels of Lake Wales A community service program provided through Lake Wales Care Center in partnership with AdventHealth Lake Wales. What is Meals on Wheels?

Meals on Wheels is an at home meal delivery service. Meals are prepared daily by AdventHealth Lake Wales and delivered to recipients by volunteers. Lake Wales Care Center has provided the Meals on Wheels program to Lake Wales and the greater Lake Wales area since 1988. What is provided?
- Meals are delivered once a day, mon-fri
- Meals consist of a hot entree, a side salad, dessert, and drink

What are the qualifications?
- this Meals on Wheels program is intended to serve individuals who...
> Have a physical limitation or are disabled
> have a hardship in preparing meals
> Are over the age of 65
*Recipients must live within the program service area*
*this program is not limited to senior adults or low-income. Referrals may come from relatives, friends, doctors, or family*

What is the cost?
- $5.00 per meal
*a sliding scale fee is available for those who qualify - please call for additional information

- Contact the Meals on Wheels Coordinator by phone or email or
- visit Care Center's main office at 140 E Park Avenue in Lake Wales
